Job Description

Do you have a strong background in E-commerce? Do you have experience in regional project management and implementation as well as indirect team leadership of remote teams?

We are seeking an E-com Director who will define and propose a strategic road map for e-com channel development.This role will be established in the regional Customer development area to provide strategic direction and orchestrate e-com initiatives across the six Business Unit’s within Western Europe

Your specific tasks include 

  • Establish and deploy e-com fundamentals (assets & tools) consistently across WE region
  • Build strong e-commerce sales and merchandising capabilities (mindset & e-com learning and application)
  • Develop paid media strategy (branded & unbranded) for search, display and voice to increase recruitment, conversion and protect the brand
  • Innovate relevant and impactful promotion mechanics and online execution guide
  • Drive online business expansion through engagement of new partnerships to balance customer portfolio with local and regional retailers
  • Define “Marketplace” strategy including 3P options
  • Address operational adjustments to serve E-com channel considering latest trends

Do you have what it takes?

  • Extensive experience in e-commerce sales and merchandising of a global player; solid experience in e-commerce environment
  • Experience in Demand planning and/or business analysis within the online environment
  • Experience in global and / or regional project management and implementation as well as indirect team leadership of remote team
  • Personally, you convince as team player who is familiar with communication at all levels and radiates strong leadership in presentations
  • Proven ability to work cross-functional and cross regional (internally and externally).
  • Strong drive, business acumen
  • Embraces diversity and understands change as an opportunity
  • Ability to perform independently
  • Strong negotiation and customer management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, responsiveness and attention to detail
  • Analytical skills and data mining experience
  • Customer or Trade Marketing experience welcome (not mandatory)
